Adrian Smith, Development Director

Originally trained as a Quantity Surveyor, Adrian joined the Group in 1974 after an early training with a civil engineering contractor and a residential developer. As the Group changed and expanded Adrian's role adapted and evolved through surveying, construction management, development and project management.

Having been involved in all of the Group's projects over the years and responsible for them since 1978, Adrian is currently responsible for our commercial and industrial developments both from financial and constructional viewpoints and for appraisals and professional input to our other developments.

Since 1990 he has also managed the property related matters of the Group's property portfolio.

He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Building, a Member of the Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors and a Member of the British Institute of Management.

Steven Wild, Projects Director

Steven’s primary responsibility is for the successful delivery of our Aldershot Centre for Health with an anticipated completion of the first half of 2008. He has a wider overview on our other projects with responsibility for their coordination and performance.

His experience extends to both public and private sectors, and more recently on highly political and complex projects. He has worked closely with local Health Care providers and Learning establishments to deliver new facilities to enable them to improve their service delivery to their communities. Commercial experience reaches across small retail/leisure schemes through to large scale mixed use regeneration projects and having worked with end users and developers, he understands the complexities and requirements that these property schemes demand.

His skill set enables him to identify, plan, develop and work through issues and risks with the project team. A firm believer in team work he enables delivery of developments through a considered and concise delivery plan, adding value and improvements to projects as they progress.

Holding full membership to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Association of Project Managers provides with him with the necessary professional skills required in today’s property market.

Ian Webb, Development Consultant

Ian moved into property development and investment after an early career in journalism. For the past 30 years he has focused on commercial development and first worked with the Wilky Group nearly 20 years ago.

Since 1996 his role has been to originate and progress large-scale projects for Wilky, often taking the company into new areas while adhering to the corporate philosophy of forming what are, in effect, partnerships with occupiers, landowners and investors. He has a particular responsibility for developing our healthcare activities.

Sandra Leslie, Managing Director — Parallel Business Centres Division

After a successful nursing career, she retrained in marketing and eventually became Marketing Manager of a large international law firm before joining Parallel Business Centres as general manager in 2000. She became operations director, responsible for day-to-day operations in 2003.
