Churchill Accident Repair Centres choose Blackwater Valley Industrial Park 12-06-2003

Churchill Accident Repair Centres Ltd have exchanged contracts for the construction of a 17,340 sq. ft. leasehold bespoke building at Blackwater Valley Industrial Park, Aldershot.

The 13-acre industrial park is a successful joint venture between local property development and investment company Wilky Property Holdings PLC and Kennet Properties Ltd, a subsidiary of Thames Water.

On completion of the building, expected in October 2003, Churchill will sign a 20-year lease at a rent of Ł8.50 per sq. ft. on the building plus a further rent for a large secure yard.

Four other units have already been built to their occupiers’ specifications, leaving just two vacant plots for circa 9,000 sq. ft and 13,000 sq.ft. respectively of industrial space on the Park. The existing occupiers are: Covers Ltd building trade suppliers, Linde CryoPlants Ltd, a multinational air separation plant manufacturer, MFI furniture warehouse supplier and Marketlink Marketing Communications Ltd.

Wilky Project Director Adrian Smith commented: “BVIP continues to enjoy a good level of interest, so we hope to secure further land for development in addition to the remaining plot.”

Jones Lang LaSalle and Hollis Hockley act for Wilky Property, while Cushman and Wakefield Healey and Baker represented Churchill.
