The UK's biggest Primary Healthcare Centre:
When construction began, 27,500 cubic metres of soil was excavated - enough to fill 11 Olympic swimming pools.
The building stands on 450 concrete piles. Their total length equals two laps around Silverstone racing circuit.
The building‘s floor area would cover 2 Wembley football pitches - 12,500 square metres.
It will house 400 staff and be visited by 2,700 patients per day from a local catchment of 45,000 and will provide specialist services for 250,000 residents from a wider catchment area.


Aldershot Centre of Health Contains:
770 rooms linked by 900m of corridors…
250 miles of electric cabling which would reach from Aldershot Barracks to Catterick Barracks
and 15 miles of piping…
900 doors, 26,000 ceiling tiles, 6,500 electrical sockets and 600 taps.
